Market day has been postponed- update for everyone
A few weeks back this was supposed to post and apparently never went thru- so here it is again, although late; local #artichokes without a #filter or any adulteration of the original photo. This was shot at a local market catered to by local farmers, with all produce from 150 miles radius - quite impressive when the variety is noted. Beautiful in themselves artichokes are really a variety of #thistles and are only separated by size and consumption.
Spring has some of the best things starting already- figs with carnitas, figs with sangria, so many options just around the corner!
Current mood, currently pouring. Flavor profiles of this will be next goal for pairings
First bits of changing seasons becoming clear: new flavors were looking forward to using this year- Pomegranate, like this budding tree- as an exciting ingredient. Roast chiles, Pomegranates and plenty of fruits are going to be ripe very soon. These will be on our upcoming menus throughout the coming spring and summer. We will be at upcoming markets again starting April and on. Look forward to serving you all soon.
Slow winter so far; regrouping @portolacoffeelab

Great year in recap: seasonal menu all year and carrying over our favorites has been awesome and gotten a great response from the public. Made a lot of great connections and learned a lot. So ready for 2016!
@kissthearth hooked it up with a henna version of our logo @theyurtsc last night. Always a great turn out but last night was an extra great group with new faces and great products @salsabysep @summersaltwater @occulture_shop and many others.
